Oh well, a Blogpost about love.
What’s love? A question without an answer. That’s why I’ll write my own story about love – a story about nostalgia.
To be nostalgic is an important feeling for me, and it has been this way for more than six years now. You find mid-century furniture in my apartment, vintage-dresses in my wardrobe and vinyl records on the shelves. It’s a design-mix from the past decades – from the golden twenties until the funky 70s – because I don’t prefer a particular century.
My love for nostalgia began with doing photographs.
The wardrobe of my grandmother has always been her pride and joy, and I can see why. She sewed every piece by herself and she gathered a great collection of different fabrics, colors full of memories. At that time, I wasn’t interested in fashion, but I was amazed by my grandmother’s wardrobe right away.
I took my first vintage themed photos with the talented Nouva Fotografie at a local American Diner. Of course, I was wearing some of my nana’s self-made dresses and I noticed how amazing I felt. I lost my heart to vintage clothing and then, everything happened very quickly. At following photoshoots, I met other retro-enthusiasts, I attended car shows and Rock’n’Roll concerts and I grew more and more into the person that I am today.
Hence, Rina Bambina isn’t a role that I play, but an important part of my everyday life. When I do photoshoots, I can let myself go and I have a lot of fun working with talented artists from all over the world. I can tell stories and spread messages on my Blog. And the most important part, I can bring joy to others. That’s why I love what I do and I do what I love!

Hach ja, ein Blog-Eintrag über Liebe.
Was ist Liebe? Eine Frage ohne universelle Antwort, denn jeder beantwortet sie auf seine Art und Weise.
Deshalb schreibe ich heute meine individuelle Liebes-Geschichte.
Seit über sechs Jahren gehört das Thema Nostalgie zu meinem Alltag; Mid-Century Möbel in der Wohnung, Vintage-Mode im Kleiderschrank, Vinyl-Musik aus dem Plattenspieler und, und, und. Von den goldenen 20ern bis zu den flippigen 70ern ist alles vertreten, denn ich bevorzuge kein bestimmtes Jahrzehnt.
Mit der Mode und der Fotografie hat auch meine Begeisterung für Nostalgie angefangen.
Der Kleiderschrank meiner Großmutter ist ihr ganzer Stolz. Er hängt voller bunter Kleider aus den vergangenen Jahrzehnten – jedes Stück wurde von Hand genäht. Ich hatte mich vorher nie sonderlich für Mode interessiert, doch als ich die Türen dieses Schrankes öffnete, erkannte ich, weshalb meine Großmutter sich niemals von dem Inhalt trennen würde. Und da ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt meine ersten Gehversuche vor der Kamera machte, ließ diese Garderobe meine Ideen sprudeln.
Meine ersten Retro-Fotos wurden von Nouva-Fotografie in einem American Diner aufgenommen und ich trug einige der selbst genähten Kleider meiner Oma. Bei diesem Foto-Projekt habe ich mein Herz an die Retro-Mode verloren und von hier an ging es rasant weiter. Während weiterer Fotoshootings lernte ich andere Nostalgie-Begeisterte kennen, besuchte Weekender und Oldtimer-Shows, gewann Gefallen an der Rock’n’Roll-Musik, und wandelte mich nach und nach in das Mädchen, das ich heute bin.
Rina Bambina ist also keine Rolle, die ich spiele, sondern ein wesentlicher Teil meines Lebens. Bei Fotoshootings lasse ich mich fallen, teste meine Grenzen und teile meine Freude mit anderen talentierten Künstlern. In meinen Blogeinträgen kann ich Geschichten erzählen und wichtige Botschaften verbreiten. Doch was mir besonders wichtig ist, ist anderen eine Freude zu machen und dieses wunderbare Feedback bekomme ich täglich zu spüren. Deshalb liebe ich, was ich tue und tue das, was ich liebe!
